Meinhardt has been involved with conceptual earthworks modelling to detailed bulk earthworks, roadworks and services design and documentation. The existing site was steeply graded with a 60m level increase and significant drainage paths across the site. Bulk earthworks were undertaken in a staged construction to create level building sites.

Weathered rock has required the use of ripping, and drill and blast operations, with multiple blasting events of 5,000 to 10,000 cubic metres required. Specialist geotechnical controls for rockfill placement and compaction were part of Level One earthworks testing and compliance.

Erosion and sediment controls have been implemented across the site by utilising future stormwater bioretention and detention devices as temporary sediment basins during construction.
