The parcel required the management of an extremely sensitive environmental area, which includes an aboriginal cultural heritage area, the protected habitat of the endangered golden sun moth and a dry rock wall constructed by early settlers. The wetland has been designed to meander around these significant elements to minimize disturbance. In addition, Meinhardt negotiated and delivered stringent environmental management practices during construction to meet the obligations of all stakeholders and achieve a quick settlement time for the client in the first stage. The project has received UDIA EnviroDevelopment Certification.
