Reducing operational costs for the client and improving the environment for residents have been key considerations.

Meinhardt conducted workshops with the client to determine the optimal air-conditioning system to meet the client’s risk profile and energy use aspirations. We settled on individual split systems to eliminate the risk of breakdown affecting multiple rooms.

Other solutions have included:

• Heat recovery units on air-conditioning to minimise energy use and improve indoor environment quality.
• LED lighting to minimise maintenance requirements.

All the works have been programmed and conducted to enable the facility to continue operations without disruption.
