With a focus on buildability, Meinhardt developed a construction methodology for the basement structure, which included an underpinning system, an intelligent sequencing programme and the integration of the latest vibration monitoring technology to prevent any adverse effects on the neighbouring listed building and to aid construction.

An iconic building also required ‘a-grade’ services and the vertical transportation team delivered an elevator system that reduced lift waiting times to an absolute minimum.
