Gawler High School: Birth – Year 12
The successful delivery of the project lowered ongoing operating and maintenance costs and improved educational facilities in the town.
Gawler High School, Evanston Primary School and Evanston Preschool were amalgamated to form a Birth to year 12 facility at the Gawler High School Site. The $14 million redevelopment across 38 acres of site area was built to accommodate an expansion of up to 1500 students.
The project team delivered an Environmentally Sustainable Design which included high efficiency lighting, significant solar PV systems, maximum daylight penetration, storm water drainage to new adjacent wetlands, and storm water collection for irrigation and toilets.
