A mixture of new build projects and upgrades of existing facilities providing nearly 600 beds. Total capital cost of ~$100m. This included a 140 bed facility in Hackham and a 164 bed facility in Smithfield in South Australia.
The project for Marten Residential Care Facility meanwhile, which comprised a new 46 bed extension and the upgrade of the existing facility, formed the model for future ECH projects under their 5 year capital works program.
All redevelopment projects were delivered while ensuring the homes remained operational.
