Tall Building Trends: The Business of Designing Skyscrapers is available to read online and download from today.
This latest Tall Buildings special – we have done 2 previously – is not just about how to design tall buildings.
By looking at some of the planning trends in Melbourne, which is Australia’s particular hotbed currently for skyscrapers, we also consider the ‘where’ and the ‘why’.
The engineering teams, meanwhile, turn their thoughts to the business of skyscrapers. It is ‘how’ and ‘design’ is integral to the thinking but it is about ‘how design can deliver value and economic sustainability for developers of tall buidings’.
