Meinhardt Appointed For Next Phase of Deakin University’s Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus Transformation
First impressions count and Deakin University is undergoing a transformation at their Waurn Ponds Campus. Meinhardt’s Building Services team is delighted to formally announce their appointment for the next phase.
The Arrival and Central Plaza will continue the redevelopment of the precinct into a modern and relevant place for students. The project will see the reconfiguration and refurbishment of Building JB, to include a student support hub, improved food concessions and a new generation Student Central, and create an arrival plaza to celebrate the formal entrance.
The team will work with architects Warren and Mahoney and provide mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and fire engineering services, as well as ESD.
Deakin University is Australia’s 9th largest university with just over 42,000 students of whom approximately a fifth are international students from more than 100 countries
